Nightgaunt first appeared in Lovecraft’s  "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" part of the Cthulhu Mythos.

This strange and dark lithe creature soars through the night sky.
This is designer Paul Komoda’s unique interpretation of this creature.
Following Paul's drawing closely, Kazuyuki Sato recreated the design in 3D, finely capturing the characteristic details of the big bat-like wings and long savage tail.
The human on the base, grabbed and dragged by his right foot presents an idea through scale, of just how big this creature really is!
